Analyzing Technical Elements of Film

 Spiderman into the spider-verse (2018)

The movie i decided to chooses was Spiderman into the spider verse. A film where you will see a young boy that is living a regular life in Brooklyn but all of a sudden gets bit by a spider and his whole life changes by night. Its a funny, action, and entertaining movie. Its is a action packed film that has very thrilling shots that you don't see a lot.

The beginning of the movie just shows' the boy named miles growing up and is going to a new school he likes to do graffiti and listen to music at home are his to favorite hobbies until one night he was out with his uncle doing graffiti and finishes when he's about to take a picture and a spider is on his hand and he gets bit. the clip I am about to show is a over the shoulder shot of miles taking a photo. the emotion it gives off here is him being proud of his uncles work taking a picture of it being happy.

The next day after miles is bit by the spider he goes on to find out that everything is off his pants have shrunk and everything is sticking to him the shot that was shown was a low angle shot leaving him scared and in shock because he has no clue on what's wrong with his body while he also has to go to school that day leaving him anxious at school when he gets to school all the voices are really loud while he is walking not being able to focus he bumps into a girl named Gwen he is sweating really bad showing how nervous he is after everything that happened this morning. While talking to Gwen he does what his uncle taught him called the ''shoulder touch'' which ends up to him being nervous and his hand being stuck to her hair and later having to go to the nurse to shave off her hair.

The next scene that happens in the aftermath of the main characters hand being stuck to Gwen's hair he is now feeling anxiety thinking no one knows but ever since the spider bite his hearing is really good and can hear everyone talking about it in this scene it shows a close up shot being very close to his eyes giving the audience a feeling of anxiousness or loud thoughts of what the character is feeling.

In this next scene it is more into the movie after the main character has discovered his powers and is trying to learn how to use his powers, in this shot it shows him jumping off a building after starting to get the hang of his powers this shot is a beautiful shot giving off how high the character is and his surroundings making it a establishing shot i love this scene because the emotion it gives off is giving it all because the other spiders said he couldn't go with them because he's not ready so he tries to give it his all so he could go help them

Finally, the last clip leading up to everything miles has trained for and the biggest and last fight in the movie it shows the main character with the rest of the spiders fighting king pin to save the multiverses and so they can get back home in the shot your about to see you can see miles and Gwen hitting one of king pins villain's in the scene you will see them both punching at the same time as it is in sync the shot is called a two shot showing two people in the frame the emotion it gives off is amazing, exciting, and proud because of how far miles has came since the beginning which shows the audience and gives them a thrill type of feeling this scene ends in miles having the chip the first spiderman gave him and him sending all the spiders home which is a very emotional scene because he doesn't know when he will see them again and they will be missed.
